It Begins with Prayer

We are still receiving reports almost daily of people who have made a decision for Christ through My Hope. And, on a regular basis, we are hearing of people who continue to use the powerful My Hope video programs in their communities, and even in missions work abroad.

With Easter only two months from today, we are excited about how God will use the program “The Cross” featuring Billy Graham’s powerful message. Pastors are telling us again and again that the program is Spirit-anointed. Many pastors and church leaders have told us that they are going to show “The Cross” on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

It all begins with prayer.

Billy Graham has said, “Prayer is crucial in evangelism: Only God can change the heart of someone who is in rebellion against Him. No matter how logical our arguments or how fervent our appeals, our words will accomplish nothing unless God’s Spirit prepares the way.”

These evangelistic programs, like “The Cross,” are tools God can use, as are we. But, we must commit to begin by praying.

We are encouraging everyone to identify a couple of people in their lives who need the hope found in a relationship with Christ. Write their names down and ask God to prepare the way for you. He will.

The Bible says in 1 John 5:14-15, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

Pray that God will use you to impact His kingdom this Easter season.
