Evangelism in America
Billy Graham has preached on every continent and met with Presidents, kings, queens, celebrities, and everyday men, women and children. No matter the audience, his message remained the same; the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Everywhere I go I find that people… both leaders and individuals… are asking one basic question,” Billy Graham has said. “’Is there any hope for the future?’ My answer is the same, ‘Yes, through Jesus Christ.’”
For his 95th birthday, Rev. Graham is excited to be bringing My Hope to North America in a massive evangelistic outreach. Read more about what Billy Graham has said about evangelism in America.
- “We have so many battles going on in America today that we should be a people of prayer. Our government needs prayer. Our leaders need prayer. Our schools need prayer. Our youth need our prayers. Our families need our prayers.” (“Hope for the Troubled Heart,” p70)
- “The secret strength of a nation is found in the faith that abides in the hearts and homes of the country.” (“Day by Day,” May 9)
- “No form of government has been able to establish righteousness, justice, and peace, the three elements without which we can never have continued national prosperity or international peace.” (“World Aflame,” p 198)
- “The great flaw in the American economic system has finally been revealed: an unrealistic faith in the power of prosperity rather than in the ultimate power and benevolence of God.” (“Storm Warning 2010,” 12)
